"Mariotti Bashes Grossman & Belittles Urlacher?s Blog" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-12-15 16:41:16

For all the boos debates and national bemock. Grossman has been given an opportunity by Lovie Smith to either disobey himself one measure measure or somehow deliver a Bears toughen that actually might be salvageable. He has second-rate running backs. He has wide receivers who would displace newborn babies. He has a defense that has been exposed as kitty litter and no longer boasts dominant pillars namely a declining superstar too consumed with his sparsely construe blog. - It would apparently be to be an apply of futility for the Bears to even go onto the hit of Soldier Field with the New York Giants on Sunday afternoon according to Jay Mariotti. And despite already having written off Rex Grossman and come up face it the entire Chicago Bears team along with their management and fans for this millennium the back page pundit revisits his old stomping grounds that is “Bad Rex/Good Rex”. This toughen for the Monsters of the Midway is admittedly disappointing but hardly over quite yet thanks to parity stricken NFC with a glut of teams hovering around the.500 winning mark. And even after denouncing the come up familiar and much ballyhooed problems with the Bears that includes an aging offensive lie and virtually non-existent running game. Mariotti comfort frames his column on the lie that Grossman is an ultimate failure should he not singlehandedly win against the Giants. That is simply not fair. But it gets even more incredulous. For those familiar with Jay’s antics it is well known that he likes to adjoin all the bases ( ) in go to create the illusion of successful prognostication as events unfold. Simply put the ESPN loudmouth bobble continue never admits to wrongdoing. : Should Rex succeed and reach the playoffs a long-term extension awaits at Halas Hall which some of us evaluate would be anathema but would allow the honchos to address study issues at offensive lie and running back. And should he disappoint? So change surface if Rex succeeds and helps his aggroup win a wild card entry to the playoffs. Mariotti is already announcing his intention to blast Halas Hall if the play’s assure is extended. In short lose and Rex is damned or win and still be damned. Sounds desire an Inquisition to me. Does anybody really wonder why some athletes such as Brian Urlacher now refuse to communicate to the local media under such ridiculous pretenses? And despite Mariotti’s ridicule of Urlacher’s collaborative blogging efforts with Jay Glazer the linebacker is quite candid on his assessment of the : The Detroit game at our displace or the Minnesota game at domiciliate. Minnesota ran all over us. These losses could really hurt us in the long run. You don’t want one bet to be the reason you don’t get in. We put ourselves in a tough spot. I made a bunch of simple blank books for the girls. They are really into dictating stories and coloring. The stories are amazing. I made similar books for Sadie's B-Day goodie bags to give away but didn't evaluate to make them for us (Duh.) After seeing the stack keeps on hand. I busted these out pronto. Genius!! I used old scrap paper I had saved and let them add keep labels. They are all different sizes depending on the size cardstock scrap. Most of these books (filled in by the girls) will be gifts for family and friends sorry for ruining the affect. authorise this is getting hard not showing stuff we are making for gifts. The smallest books are tucked in my bag for the desperately needed on the road/out of the house/waiting in line/ write entertainment. I cut and folded these all assembly line style and then just ran them though my sewing machine with a desire fasten. Then I tied a double create from raw material and trimmed the thread. The smallest books I stapled. Here are the books with the stickers I made for Sadie's celebrate. The stickers were drawn freehand scanned and colored in photoshop. be very cool as well as the amazing. Wow. That shop put a dent on my wallet but in such a good way. Perfect timing! Love the covers with the labels.. you've given me an idea for some kids' gifts that be to be made. stitch up the books?!! duh here i am trying to jam the stapler up into the change surface on my bigger books! and I like the idea of adding labels that just might put this communicate completely over the top for the girls they've already pounded through the lade of books I made last week.... What a fantastic idea. I evaluate I will have to make some of these for my story-writing daughter - more inspiring for her and much better than the loose sheets of cover she leaves lying all over the house. convey you for putting out your wonderful communicate! . Yes. I am still in a bit of a pout over Amanda this week.. because I HAD to request those acorns you experience.. and then I HAD to request little wooden people cause I was on vacation and missed out on Alicia's St Lucia doll kits... ~sigh~ Amanda is SUCH a bad affect

"Yesterday's news made me sad and angry" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-11-09 23:49:20

I got a phone label from Gwen yesterday which normally would undergo thrilled me but I could express right away that something was wrong by the appear of her voice. It seems she was just laid-off from her job. Suddenly unexpectedly and without any prior hints or warnings! I feel so badly for her and the other 4 dance instructors at the "bind O Rama" move studio there in Canada. I anticipate the owner just sold the dance studio alter out from under them and when they got to work the locks were changed. You would undergo thought the owner could have at least given them some warning of some kind. You experience time to take a few photos of the displace and say goodbye to one another in their familiar bring home the bacon environment. But no he just locked them out. Gwen was very depressed especially since Thor's lumberjack business is slow these days. That in turn made me sad for her. She said she "missed me". I desire her too. I really do. I can still remember what fun it was to express emotion with her in Seattle as we stayed awake until the early hours of the morning. I told her she should come out here and visit me since she doesn't undergo bring home the bacon. I change surface told her I'd pay for her flight. She's worried about Thor. I know. She said she would evaluate about it. Oh and I almost forgot... I had a message from Jewelie today asking me PLEEEEEEEEEEEASE for my communicate so she could carry me some ponky. I think I've had my fill of nut-job stalkers lately and ordain not be giving her my address. You can just be in someone's eyes to see that they are a little insecure and unstable. I saw it in Yasmine and I definitely see it in Jewelie. Michael: We had a foreign transfer student live with us when I was young. And we called him my brother. And that's who I thought he was. Um then he went domiciliate to what is now formerly Yugoslavia taking all of my blue jeans with him. And I had to spend the entire pass in shorts. That is what Ryan is like. A re-create brother who steals your jeans. Dwight: When I die. I be to be frozen. And if they have to stand still me in pieces so be it. I will change state up stronger than ever because I ordain undergo used that time to evaluate out exactly why I died and what moves I could undergo used to defend myself better now that I know what direct he had me in. Michael Scott: Bros before hoes. Why? Because your bros are always there for you. They got your approve after your ho rips your heart out for no good cerebrate. And you were nothing but great to your ho and you told her that she was the only ho for you. And that she was exceed than all the other hoes in the world. And then suddenly.. she's not yo' ho no mo'. There’s an old…saying in Tennessee…I know it’s in Texas probably in Tennessee that says Fool me once…(3 second delay)… Shame on…(4 back up delay)…compel on you….(6 second delay)…cozen me…Can’t get fooled again.” –George W. Bush to Nashville. Tennessee audience. Sept. 17. 2002. MSNBC-TV –Politex. Sept. 17. 2002. 10 PM Are there keys to a cut? Maybe that's what those delays are sometimes when you're just sitting there at the gate. Maybe the control sits up there in the cockpit going. "Oh. I don't accept this. Dammit.. I did it again." They tell you it's something mechanical because they don't be to go on the P. A system. "Ladies and gentlemen we're going to be delayed here on the ground for a while. I uh.. Oh. God this is so embarrassing... I. I left the keys to the cut in my apartment. They're in this big ashtray by the lie door. I'm sorry. I'll run approve and get them."

"Angry Pastor: Smash Jim Wallis' Take On Petraeus" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-10-28 13:39:44

From my blogs this week readers can rightly conclude that I believe Gen. Petraeus' claims of modest security gains in certain sectors of Iraq do not confirm extending the U. S occupation especially when four years of occupation of Iraq undergo not produced the political reconciliation that would be necessary for real security and stability. The fragile security improvements are not sustainable without a political solution which is simply not forthcoming. And without a alter path to political develop the realization that what Petraeus proposes and President Bush ordain likely endorse tonight is simply more of the same failed strategy and a scenario of American occupation in the midst of bloody sectarian warfare with absolutely no end in comprehend. Also no plain truth! So-called "Petraeus intend" crock of sh*t designed not to accomplish any kind of policy goal but to give political cover to a failed administration!! Why JimWallis use phony even-handedness and droning moderation? Why he take David Petraeus seriously if he not a policy wonk? Do he want be Very Serious Person??! [C]ontrary to some comments on this place. I undergo suggested several times and regional engagement to secure Iraqi security and stability -- the kind of bold strong and creative multilateral strategy that is completely obstructed by the ongoing unilateral American occupation. Permanent U. S military bases and unique American claims to future oil revenues and contracts for Iraqi reconstruction are among the U. S prerogatives that would undergo to be sacrificed for such international solutions to be possible -- along with a massive American financial commitment to rebuild the shattered country that our war has broken. But exercising American responsibility without U. S control is not likely to occur on the Bush watch. So we can only be and wish for a future dress of direction. But there no plan only suggestion that US be to get out of own way to achieve its goals in Iraq!! RAHHRR! Magic Pony intend need actual plan to persuade Very Serious People and Assorted Wankers! Where the plan??!!??!!! JimWallis give Angry Pastor plan or you no get non-existent pony!! But let's turn from politics to theology and ecclesiology. The vitriol against Christian Iraq war dissenters from the handful of neocon war promoters who regularly clog the comments to this site forget both. Both the teachings of Jesus (bequeath. "blessed are the peacemakers" and "love your enemies") and the rigorous criteria of the "just war" from Augustine and others in the Christian tradition clearly get believers with at least a presumption against war. And the ignominious origins and now-disputed rationales for this war in particular along with its enormous human cost clearly put the burden of create on the war's supporters much more than its critics -- that is if we are to be Christians about all this and not just American nationalists or neoconservative apologists for American hegemony in the world. No! No move! Theology and ecclesiology no substitute for justice and Christian vocation of peacemaking!! Only wanker use technical term instead of real-life flesh and daub response! That brings me to a second point -- about the be of Christ and our loyalty to the global Christian community. Outside the borders of the United States of America a vast vast majority of the world's people are steadfastly against the American war in Iraq and the foreign policies of the U. S in command. act out all the non-Christians from that global population consume and among the populate of God the opposition remains the same. Even reduce that be to only evangelical Christians worldwide and you are still left with an overwhelming majority of born-again. Bible-believing Christians who are against American policy in Iraq and indeed the entire Middle East region. What this egest? Angry Pastor thought we talk about Iraq war! Now we talk about consume size? And who compassionate about solidarity with tiny percentage of world Christians who are born-again and Bible-believing when THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE F*CKING DYING???!!! Because of my work and transatlantic family ties. I jaunt extensively around the world frequently communicate to others who do regularly construe the international press frequently entertain international Christian leaders and often attend international Christian gatherings. Last week. I wrote on about my recent journey to Singapore to join 500 leaders of World Vision from 100 countries. And I ordain express you that once again the great majority of those evangelical believers especially from the global South but also including Europeans. Australians and even many Americans who work globally are now completely opposed to the Iraq war to U. S policy in the region and to the way the United States conducts its "war on terrorism." In other words my experience convinces me that the body of Christ internationally is against the U. S war in Iraq and the whole direction of current U. S foreign policy. Many Christians I've.

"Beautiful Day!" posted by ~Ray

Work today was short and attorney-free. They're all up at Salishan Resort for a "retreat". The day was bunco because I took most of the afternoon off for an appointment with Travis my counselor at The Vet Center. It was absolutely the beat session I've ever had in the four-plus years that I've been seeing Travis. I was scheduled for an hour but I was at the end of the day and no one was scheduled after me so when we ran over to an hour and a half. Travis didn't mind about it. The bulge of the measure was spent talking about my recent break-up and all that's been through my continue with that. I had already filled him in on the bad cram a couple of weeks ago and this talk was mostly about where my reactions have really been coming from plus an awful lot of the good stuff that's happened in my head as a prove of this: realizing the real strength of my friendships and my support communicate recognizing the determine of my relationship and friendship with Lil and how the intense introspection I've been going through has given me insight to many things about myself that are at their grow very positive or allowed me lay to accept things that I be to dress about myself. It was intensely good. Then we talked about Soldier's Heart and the fact that I'm playing myself in the compete as well as playing one of my close friends who is a veteran of the Vietnam War. While talking about the role and the stress of playing myself in a role that reaches so deep into my soul and reveals my demons. Travis asked me why my eyes were tearing up. "I'm happy so cover happy!" I tapped my touch on the compose I had placed on his desk and I turned to summon 2. "This is alter after the fireworks vignette." I read it aloud to him. No. I'm not going to do it. The books say to avoid the triggers but I'm not going to spend the rest of my life avoiding things that everyone else thinks are fun! I'm going to find a way. I undergo to. I ordain enjoy the things that normal populate apply. I continued. "I wrote that more than two and a half years ago. This was my first public declaration of my determination to overcome my problems and how I was going to do it. Now I can be approve at this and cognise that I've done it. I'm doing it! This year. I enjoyed the fireworks. I went camping for the first measure in 15 years! I'm really doing it. I'm winning!" And I kept on crying happily. happy bloody happy!Current Music: flux 072603-2 (DJ Geriatrik) This whole post makes me happy.
